MBH Architects recently transformed a former TV studio and office into an airy, natural-light-filled fitness space. The new Equinox Miracle Mile is not your average gym. From its glass portal entryway to its soaring ceilings and gold-dipped fluted columns, architecture takes center stage at this new sanctuary on Wilshire Boulevard.
A zigzagging building form features a series of unique and memorable spaces for members, with four dedicated fitness studios, an open studio, spa treatment rooms, a juice bar, and a shop. The walls and ceilings form sweeping curves, which, along with carefully integrated dome lighting, lead users to the heart of the club.
