This role focuses on overseeing the knowledge management program which facilitates the use of information to drive innovation, deliver high-quality design and construction projects, and minimize risk to MBH. This person would partner with leadership to foster a learning culture and help teams improve how they work and communicate.

Duties Include:

  • Facilitate identification and sharing of firm-wide, studio, department, and team best practices, then the operationalization of applicable lessons learned

  • Assist with creation of universal standards

  • Identify and administer process enhancement programs

  • General management and administration of company intranet

  • Improve findability of architectural and operational information and resources

  • Help capture and organize project data

  • Continually evaluate communication and knowledge management tools

  • Administer Global All-Staff Meetings

  • Assist in identifying training needs for existing and new employees

  • Support company training and learning initiates

  • Manage multiple assignments concurrently in fast-paced environment both autonomously and with other stakeholders

  • Support the “One MBH” mindset by improving communication and sharing across our multi-office eco-system

  • Create and facilitate programs and initiatives that support firm goals

  • Assist with identification and communication of employee strengths and skills to facilitate staffing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred – information or library sciences a bonus

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in knowledge management or related field and/or experience working with an architecture/engineering/construction firm or other professional services organization preferred

  • Excellent customer service skills; strong communicator with the ability to help others understand complex topics

  • Track record of creating and executing big picture strategies

  • Intranet management experience

  • Adept at learning/using new software tools such as project management and communication platforms

  • Able to travel to all US offices
