Pro Bono Project
The space is almost a perfect cube and the volume was utilized by placing the office and the conferences above in a mezzanine and the back of house functions were located directly below. MBH created an entry foyer that also acted as a gallery, space for a private offices and a conference room along with storage, small kitchen and a toilet room. The gallery acts as the backbone of the space with an area for children to paint and complete projects.
The main workspace and gallery opens up with large storefront doors onto an existing wood deck and the San Francisco Bay beyond. Slick industrial light fixtures were chosen to hang in the workplace and a powerful sound system was integrated to give the area terrific kinetic energy. - Unique Features:
Located on Pier 9 on San Francisco’s energetic Embarcadero with views of San Francisco Bay and beyond.
