Marriott's Newport Coast Villas Recieves ARDA Award
MBH Architects is proud to announce that the firm is the recipient of
a 2001 Resort Architecture Silver Award from the American Resort Development
Association (ARDA) Awards for the Newport Coast Villas, located along
the Coast Highway in Newport Beach, California.
Inspired by the allure of a romantic Italian hillside village, Newport Coast Villas includes a dramatic campanile within a central piazza. Authentic detailing and the use of substantial materials, elaborate stone paving with appropriately scaled window and rooflines all combine to evoke the image of Tuscany.
