ALAMEDA, CA - Andres Grechi, MBH Design Director, has been promoted and named a Principal.
Grechi advanced into his new role as Principal due to his impeccable eye for superb design, a steadfast work ethic, innate ability to relate with clients and cohorts, and his genuine commitment to the firm’s clients.
Grechi began working at MBH in 1998 as a Senior Designer and by 2000 he was promoted to Senior Associate and named Director of the Design Studio. As Director of the MBH Design Studio, Grechi is responsible for all elements of design for the entire spectrum of MBH project types including: Mixed-Use, Residential, Retail, and Specialty Retail. Also, he oversees the production of national marketing materials, print advertising, brand image, and all other graphics and visuals.
Grechi has over 23 years of architecture and design experience. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Cogswell College in San Francisco, California. Before joining MBH Architects, he spent fourteen years at Hellmuth Obata Kassabaum, Inc (HOK). Grechi represented HOK in their collaboration with Mario Botta working on the famous San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
Grechi is much more than a great designer and architect he is a one-of-a-kind leader, a superb communicator, a role model, a mentor, and a friend to all of those that work with him. He is a true asset to MBH.
