MBH Architects Announces New Hires for Alameda / Newport Beach Offices
MBH Architects has acquired several new employees this month as the firm has continued to increase its project workload in both its Alameda and Newport Beach, California offices.

MBH is proud to welcome, Doug Fong, Project Architect, to the Restaurant Studio. Mr. Fond has over 25 years of architectural experience in commercial, residential and public projects. He comes to MBH after owning his own architecture practice, Design + Build, in San Francisco, California where he acted the Founding Principal. Mr. Fong holds a degree in architecture from the Cooper Union School of Architecture in New York, NY. He is a registered architect in the state of California.
MBH is proud to welcome, Amy Chang, Senior Drafter, to the Restaurant Studio. Ms. Chang comes to MBH from Douglas Booth Architects in San Francisco. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture, with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters degree in Interior Design from Pratt University in Brooklyn, New York. Ms. Chang is fluent in Chinese and Spanish.
MBH is proud to welcome Elaine Leong, Drafter, to the Retail Studio. Ms. Leong holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. She participated in an architectural studies program in Copenhagen, Denmark. She previously worked at Phillip Banta and Associates as an Architectural Intern.
MBH is proud to welcome Matthew Bokar, Drafter, to the Specialty Retail Design Studio. Mr. Bokar comes to MBH from Professional Design Associates in Cincinnati, Ohio where he worked at a Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
MBH is proud to welcome Joe Irwin, Junior Designer, to the Design Studio. Mr. Irwin recently graduated from the University on Nebraska, Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Design, Architectural Studies.
