MBH HOSPITALITY PROJECTS WIN IN THE 2006 ARDA AWARDS PROGRAM
Two
hospitality projects by MBH Architects of Alameda and Newport Beach,
California have earned two incredible awards in the 2006 American Resort
Development Association (ARDA) Awards Program.
The Bay Club in Waikoloa, Hawaii from Hilton Grand Vacations Club, received an award for Resort Design, Interior Design of Common Area. The interior design was a collaboration of MBH, Hilton, Merilee Elliott Interiors and The Getty’s Group.
Phase I of Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, was named the ARDA Circle of Excellence (ACE) Project of Excellence for 2006. According to the ARDA Nomination Guide, “This award recognizes timeshare or mixed use projects that are considered a success not only by investors, but by all parties, including the owners and the local community.” At completion in 2011, the resort will have over 1500 keys, cover over two million square feet on a ten acre parcel on the infamous Las Vegas Strip.
The ARDA Awards Program is committed to recognizing the best nominees submitted in areas that include overall professional excellence, outstanding sales accomplishments, product design, advertising, and staff. The "ARDA Circle of Excellence" (ACE) awards will honor those that have attained the highest level of excellence in the resort industry, whose accomplishments and dedication help spur the industry to new heights.
