Peninsula Mandalay Rising in South San Francisco

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Along the southern slope of San Bruno Mountain, a striking eighteen story residential tower is being built adjacent to a protected 3600 acre wildlife area, the nation’s first Habitat Conservation Plan.

The modern architecture consists of a slightly staggered and angled curtain wall composed of aluminum and glass grids with rectilinear concrete panels concealing staircases and parking areas. These spaces are pulled from the main structure creating a distinct separation of uses within the building. The pale green glass combined with white mullions and a stone clad entry creates a pleasing combination of materials and textures. The siting at the bottom of a mountain surrounded by vegetation makes the structure appear as a modern object on landscape and residents will have views of gently sloping hills, the San Francisco skyline and the Bay.
