MBH Designed Hospitality Projects Earn Six Awards in the 2004 American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Awards Programs


P.F. Chang's China Bistro Three hospitality projects by MBH Architects of Alameda and Newport Beach, California have earned an astounding six awards in the 2004 ARDA Awards Program. The ceremony took place on May 4, 2004 at the ARDA Convention at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas in Newport Beach, California received the ACE Project of Excellence Award. According to the ARDA Nomination Guide, “This award recognizes timeshare or mixed use projects that are considered a success not only by investors, but by all parties, including the owners and the local community,”

The winning honor for Resort Design, Site Design and Utilization, went to Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert California.

Four awards were given to Phase I of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. The project received finalist honors in three Resort Design categories; Interior Design - New Resort Unit, Sales Center, and Site Design and Utilization. Top honors went to Hilton Grand for Interior Design – Common Area.
