Studio Structure
We stand for structure. Since each project type has their own, one of a kind, challenges MBH is internally organized into eight significant Studios, based upon client specialty. These studios are Design, Large Format Retail, Specialty Retail, Mixed-Use, Housing/ Special Projects, Restaurant/ Entertainment, Hospitality, Planning, and Quality Assurance. Each of these Studios is headed by a Studio Director reporting directly to one of the Principals. Understanding our client’s core objectives is the most important component in the quest for successful projects. Our clients expect perfection. We deliver this excellence by knowing, in and out, the nuances of each client.
MBH has achieved a remarkable level of experience in dealing with governmental jurisdictions and understands the methods of getting projects delivered to and processed through building departments and landlords. On average MBH pulls one permit every day, which is an indication of our expertise and capability. Drawing sets bearing the MBH logo are well recognized and respected across the country. This awareness has focused MBH on creating our project teams from within and keeping our professional staff working together on the same accounts. The reward is an amazing swiftness and consistency of service and results.
MBH provides an array of professional guidance and services to our customers from conception to completion. Our professional services include site survey, entitlement procedures, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and specifications, permit acquisition, construction administration and post occupancy analysis. MBH can provide other services including color renderings, fixture and furniture design, as well as value engineering.
All production is carefully monitored. There is a clear team understanding of the chain of responsibility for our drawing check and re-check process. We have a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Studio who is responsible for final review prior to all major distributions. Technical is by nature less subjective than design. It is either right or it is not. MBH, in our quest for excellence seeks to do it right every time.
